CPC Time is a killer

I scored a 66% on my cpc exam. The areas that AAPC said I needed work on were the areas that I had to randomly answered due to the fact that I had only 5 minutes left to finish the exam.

I felt confident in all the questions that I was able to read and answer, and I was even sure that I was going to get a passing grade even though I had about 30 questions left that I had to just randomly fill in.

I suppose taking the practice exams will help with this, correct?

Yes, if you time yourself when you take them. You should work on getting your pace so you can average 30 questions in about an hour. That would be 150 questions in 5 hours. The extra 40 minutes can be used for extra time for those questions you need to go back to, a short break, etc. You must learn to chug along a good pace, but not to feel overly rushed.
